Sometimes you know the question before you know which page to read. Paperspell offers chat connected to a document and a separate AI Chat area for questions across your library.
Stay with one document
Open a document and ask about its content. A focused question such as “Which cancellation conditions are mentioned?” is easier to check than a broad request for advice. Keep the original available while you read the answer and ask follow-up questions.
Look across your library
In AI Chat, start a conversation for a broader question. You can keep separate conversations for different tasks, use the suggested prompts as a starting point, and open source documents from answer references when provided. Conversations can also be deleted from the chat menu.
Treat answers as a starting point
AI can misunderstand a passage, miss a relevant document, or produce an unsupported answer. Open the referenced material and check the exact wording before making a decision. Processing and connection status may affect what is available to the chat.
For a quick overview of one file, read its summary. To locate a known record, use document search.
